AI-Recruit Talent Search Connector
How the connector uses your data, how professional profile information is handled, and how anyone can ask to be removed from the talent pool.
Last updated: July 2026 · Operated by AI-Recruit KK (Japan)
If you appear in a search result and want your information removed, email privacy@ai-recruit.io with your name and the LinkedIn URL or email tied to the profile. We act on valid requests promptly, and in any case within 30 days. See Section 6.
1. What this covers
This policy applies to the AI-Recruit Talent Search connector ("the Connector"), which lets you search Japan's professional talent pool — including contact details where available — through Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or another MCP-compatible tool using your AI-Recruit API key. It is separate from the main AI-Recruit privacy policy, which covers candidates and employers who create AI-Recruit accounts.
2. Data we collect from you (Connector customers)
- API key and account info: the name and email associated with your key, for identification and billing.
- Query data: search queries sent through the Connector and which profiles were returned.
- Usage logs: timestamps and request counts per key, for support, abuse prevention, and limit enforcement.
3. Data about professionals you search
Search results may include name, headline, location, industry subsector, public LinkedIn URL, and — where available — email address and phone number. This information is sourced from publicly available professional information and from licensed data providers; it is not collected directly from the individuals it describes, who have not created an AI-Recruit account.
Purpose of use. AI-Recruit KK handles this information for the purpose of operating a professional talent-search and recruiting-outreach service — that is, to let authorized users identify and contact potential candidates for roles in Japan.
Your control. Any individual whose information may appear in the talent pool can ask us to stop including it and to remove it, at any time and free of charge, as described in Section 6. We maintain a suppression list so that removed profiles are not re-added by future data updates.
4. How we use data
- To return relevant, actionable search results to your query.
- To enforce your monthly request limit and bill accordingly.
- To detect abuse, fraud, or violations of our terms.
- To improve search relevance and the underlying matching model.
5. Third-party sharing
We do not sell your query data. We may share data with infrastructure vendors (hosting providers, data sources) under contractual confidentiality obligations, or when required by law.
6. Removal requests (for people who appear in search results)
Anyone whose profile appears in Connector search results may request that their information be removed from our talent pool by emailing privacy@ai-recruit.io with the profile's name and the email or LinkedIn URL associated with it. We may ask the requester to confirm control of that email address before processing the request. We act on valid removal requests promptly, and in any case within 30 days. Removed profiles are added to a suppression list so they are not re-added by future data updates.
Limitation: removal applies to AI-Recruit's own talent pool going forward. It does not retroactively delete data already retrieved by Connector customers prior to the removal request, including data exported into a customer's own CRM or outreach tool.
7. Data retention
We retain query and usage logs for 24 months from the date they are collected, after which they are deleted or anonymized. Suppressed profile records are retained indefinitely in the suppression list itself (to prevent re-addition) but excluded from all search results and exports.
8. Your rights (Connector customers)
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account and usage data, or revoke your API key at any time, by contacting nata@ai-recruit.io.
